Wonderful Carnival

These are the typical masked figures in Verin: "Cigarrones"

The carnival is my favourite party.
Verin celebrates the carnival every year.
Another countries celebrate carnival too, for example: Xinzo, Laza or Oimbra.
The party begins on San Anton's day in January.
But the "compadres" Thursday is the real start day.
The "comadres" Thursday is very well knows and Verin is frequented by people dressed with fantastic costumes.
On Sunday morning a parade goes along the main streets.
Monday is very boring, but we go to Oimbra where we can eat free and people throw ants.
On Tuesday, a new parade goes along the main streets again.
The last day is "Piñata's Sunday".
